The world’s second biggest beer brand, Tsingtao (pronounced Ching Dow), is taking over Glasgow’s stylish Merchant Square for its pop-up ping pong event, Ping Pow!, at 6pm on Saturday November 16th 2013.
Ping Pow! is free to attend and table tennis aficionados – or those who fancy the fun of battling it out over a beer can bat, chop and block against each other on a number of professional table tennis tables housed within the courtyard of Merchant Square.
Those with no fear can Challenge the Dragon and win a ‘year of beer’ by purchasing a bottle of Tsingtao and battling it out against the huge robotic Tsingtao dragon which fires up to 90 balls per minute from its mouth.
Jennifer Morrison, operations manager at Merchant Square says: “We’re really excited to be hosting Ping Pow! with Tsingtao Beer – we’re a competitive bunch in Glasgow so we’re expecting a great response and an even better atmosphere. We recommend people arrive early if they wish to play.”
There is no need to register to attend Ping Pow! Simply turn up and play, enjoy the Tsingtao Beer bar and soak up the excitement of Glasgow’s premier ping pong event.
